Linux (the freeware version of UNIX) places the user in 'the belly of the beast', a behind the scenes immersion into the programming environment.
By building Linux based workstations we are able to offer K-12 children an opportunity to immerse themselves into a real-life working environment to understand and learn how hardware and software are made.
